Gigabyte TO16-A82 Server

Constructed to fit an Open Rack v3 (ORV3) standard open-source data center rack, the Gigabyte TO16-A82 ORV3 Server connects to power at the back of the rack via a 48V DC or 54W DC power bus bar. This is a 1OU front-accessible 2-node server that offers a direct liquid cooling (DLC) solution with leak detection. Each node supports 2x intel Xeon 6 6900-series or Xeon 6900E+ CPUs.

Additional Information

Each CPU delivers 12-channel memory architecture and 12x DDR5 memory module slots for up to 24 DIMM slots per node. Memory supported on the Gigabyte TO16-A82 Server includes Registered DIMMs (RDIMM) and Multiplexed Rank DIMMs or MRDIMMs. With RDIMMs installed memory speeds of up to 6400MT/s using Intel Xeon 6900-series processors are supported or up to 8800MT/s using MRDIMMs. Intel Xeon 6900E+ with efficiency cores (E-cores) enables memory speeds of up to 8000MT/s using RDIMMs. MRDIMMs are only supported using select CPUs and only with those that support performance cores (P-cores).

Storage on the front of the system includes 8x E3.S Gen5 NVMe bays divided between the 2x server nodes. There are also 2x low-profile PCIe Gen5 x16 PCIe slots per node for expansion. The system also includes a management LAN port for remote management of the system. The integrated ASPEED AST2600 microprocessor on the system board provides an IPMI and Redfish compatible baseboard management utility.
