The TO86-SD1-AA05 delivers 1.8 TB/s GPU-to-GPU bandwidth via NVLink and NVSwitch. The server utilizes a top-loading design for the 8x SXM GPUs, while the rest of the components reside on the motherboard accessed via a bottom pull-out tray. It is equipped with 32x DDR5 RDIMM slots and compatible with Multiplexed Rank DIMMs or MRDIMMs. Featuring 8-channel memory architecture per processor, the system can be outfitted with a maximum memory of up to 4TB. Memory speeds reach up to 6400 MT/s (RDIMM 1DPC), 5200 MT/s (RDIMM 2DPC), and up to 8000 MT/s with MRDIMM (1DPC on select processors). MRDIMMs are supported only on select Intel Xeon 6 processors with P-cores and only in a 1DPC configuration. 

The server includes 8x 2.5" Gen5 NVMe hot-swap bays on the front panel and 1x internal M.2 (2280/22110) PCIe Gen5 x4 slot from CPU_1. It is optimized for air-cooled, high-density GPU deployments in ORv3 environments. This platform leverages advanced PCIe switching and riser configurations to maximize GPU performance and interconnect bandwidth. For super-fast network communications and RDMA applications, the system can support NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs and NVIDIA ConnectX-7 NICs. The system supports 12 PCIe x16 Gen5 slots.

Powered by the ASPEED AST2600 BMC, the TO86-SD1-AA05 offers comprehensive remote management through the Gigabyte Management Console. It supports HTML5 KVM remote control, real-time sensor monitoring, advanced power management, event logging, and flexible user authentication. The system employs a 48V DC bus bar architecture built to handle demanding GPU power requirements.
