Additional InformationCompatible processors can have a thermal design power range of up to 350W. With 8-channel memory architecture, each processor supports 16x memory module slots for 2x DIMMs per Channel at full capacity. Memory supported on the Gigabyte XLS4-SX2 GPU Server includes liquid-cooled DDR5 Registered DIMMs (RDIMM) and Multiplexed Rank DIMMs (MRDIMM). RDIMMs will provide memory speeds of up to 8000MT/s, while MRDIMMs will deliver up to 12800MT/s. The liquid-cooled NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs have a connected SuperNIC switch.

8x Quad small form-factor pluggable ports from the ConnectX-8 SuperNIC switch board deliver data transmission speeds of up to 400Gb/s InfiniBand or Ethernet, for GPU networking. Providing options for expansion, the system has 2x full-height, full-length PCIe gen5 PCIe slots. For super-fast network connections, the system can be configured with an NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPU. 8x Hot-swap storage bays along the front of the chassis can be outfitted with E1.S Gen5 NVMe drives. There are also 2x PCIe Gen5 x4 slots on the system board for use with NVMe M.2 drive types that can be used to support the OS.
