With support for 4x NVIDIA GPUs, the Gigabyte XV24-AX0-AAJ1 Server has 4x full-height, full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots specifically for GPUs, plus 3x more full-height, full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots for NICs or HD controllers. Two PCIe Gen5 x2 slots on the system board can be used to support 1x or 2x NVMe M.2 drives to boot the system. Each processor supports 12x DDR5 memory module slots for 24 slots total. DDR5 Registered (RDIMM) memory is supported along with Multi-Capacity Rank DIMMs or MRDIMMs, which are also known as Multiplexor Combined Rank DIMMs or MCR DIMMs. MRDIMMs are only supported with Intel Xeon 6 processors with P-cores.
The back of this 4 GPU server shows an I/O panel with dual USB-A ports plus dual 10GbE ports and a dedicated GbE management port. Management of the system is provided by the pre-installed Gigabyte Management Console, which is suitable for managing a single server or small cluster. For more robust management features, the Gigabyte Server Management or GSM can manage clusters of servers using an intuitive graphical user interface for real-time management.
