There are 3x configuration models available for the ProLiant DL20 Gen11, with variations in front panel drive bays. One configuration supports 2x 3.5” non-hot plug drives, while the other two models support 2x 3.5” hot-plug drives or 4 + 2 hot-plug 2.5” drives. The system can support up to 92TB of storage with 4x SFF drives with additional optional 2x SFF drives installed. Additionally, an optional optical drive is available on the 4x SFF and 2x LFF configure-to-order platforms. The system comes with a virtual RAID on CPU or VROC storage controller offering SATA software RAID options of 0, 1, 5 or 10 but must be enabled in BIOS if desired. Performance Gen11 RAID controllers are also supported. There is an iLO/M.2 enablement kit for remote and out-of-band management of the system.
Standard features include HPE integrated Lights Out 6 (iLO 6) on system management memory. Using HPE iLO 6, Administrators can monitor the server, receive alerts and manage the system remotely using a standard browser or the mobile app. Administrators can choose between 290W non-redundant PSUs or 500W, 800W, or 1000W flex slot power supplies that offer redundancy with a second PSU. 4x 1GbE network ports on the rear of the chassis provide basic network communications. 1x PCIe Gen5 x16 slot with a full-height, half-length form factor and 1x OCP 3.0 slot provide additional options for expansion and network connectivity.
