HPE ProLiant DL345 Gen12 Server

A total of 6TB of memory across 24x DDR5 memory module slots can be loaded onto the HPE DL345 Gen12 server. The front of the chassis features a number of storage options including up to 12x 3.5” SAS/SATA, 24x 2.5” SAS/SATA/NVMe, or 36x EDSFF NVMe drive bays. Up to 2x 2.5” SAS/SATA/NVMe drive bays are supported at the rear of the chassis depending on the model. An optional DVD-ROM via a Universal Media Bay External support is also available. An OS boot device and OCP NICs can also be loaded in the front cage for quicker access. It also provides HPE’s NS204i-u V2 hot-pluggable boot-optimized storage device and OCP NIC mezzanine card slots that can be mounted at the front or the rear of the chassis.

On the rear of the chassis, the server supports two risers for up to 6x PCIe Gen5 slots (x16 lanes/each) and 2x OCP3.0 slots (x16 lanes/each). This server provides air cooling or direct liquid cooling, plus up to 2x HPE Modular Common Redundant (M-CRPS) power supplies. PSU Wattage will depend on the model and configuration. For remote management of the system, HPE’s Integrated Lights-Out 7 (iLO 7) software offers a redesigned GUI, Redfish API, and increased security through patented secure enclave technology initiatives.
