At just 1U, the HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Plus Server offers high density with dual 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. This system can support a number of diverse workloads and offers a number of chassis configurations and storage options including up to 10x SFF or 4 LFF drive bays plus up to 12TB of memory using a combination of DDR4 and persistent memory modules.
Offering resiliency and versatility, the HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 Plus Server delivers with a 1U chassis supporting dual 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 40 cores each! Storage options include SAS, SATA and NVMe U.2 or U.3 depending on the configuration. This platform is ideal for data-centric, in-memory applications with support for up to 12TB of memory at capacity using persistent memory modules. The small form factor at only 1U almost guarantees a fit with your existing network or for use in data centers to expand compute.
Intel Xeon Scalable 8300 series processors will provide the highest core count at up to 40 physical cores and 80 virtual threads. Gold 6300 series processors top out at only 32 physical cores and 64 virtual threads per processor but can still deliver a combined total of up to 64 cores. These 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors also feature 64 PCIe lanes each for a combined 128 PCIe lanes. Each processor also supports 8x memory channels, which is 2x more than 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors.
With 8x memory channels per socket to work with, plus a combination of DDR4 and data centric persistent memory modules (DCPMM), the system can reach a maximum capacity of 12TB of memory with 6TB per socket. That would be with half the slots outfitted with DDR4 RDIMMs at 128GB and the other half using DCPMMs, also known as NVDIMMs, at a maximum module size of 512GB. The NVDIMMs are only paired with RDIMM DDR4. Using a full compliment of LRDIMM memory modules at maximum capacity, using 256GB memory modules in all slots will provide up to 8TB of memory.
Two chassis configurations are available on this system with one supporting 10x 2.5-inch drive bays, and the other 4x 3.5-inch drive bays. Depending on the chassis configuration, either NVME U.2 or U.3 drives can be installed. SATA drives are supported natively or SAS using a discrete HBA/RAID controller in one of the PCIe slots. An optional PCIe 3.0 M.2 NS204i-r Riser Kit has a x8 PCIe link and supports two NVMe M.2 drives that can be used in mirror mode to support the OS.
Standard features on the HPE DL360 Gen10 Plus Server include a primary riser with a PCIe 4.0 x16 full-height slot with x16 bus link and a low-profile PCIe 4.0 x8 slot with a x8 link. The secondary riser has a single PCIe 4.0 slot with a x16 slot and bus link that can support either a full-height or low-profile card. However, if a full-height kit is installed in the secondary riser then PCIe slot #2 in the primary riser will be unavailable as only 2x full-height slots are supported.
HPE’s proprietary Integrated Lights Out (iLO) Standard edition with Intelligent Provisioning comes embedded on the system. Additional levels with more features include iLO Advanced and iLO OneView Advanced. HPE OneView is an infrastructure automation software designed to simplify management of the entire network. It combines networking, compute, and storage into a software-defined infrastructure to help rapidly deploy assets where needed.
