There are 16x memory module slots per processor, for a total of 64x DIMM slots. Six PCIe Gen5 slots are supported using a primary and secondary riser, plus 2x OCP 3.0 slots which can be accessed through the rear of the server. Up to 6x single-wide or 2x double-wide GPUs can be deployed on the ProLiant DL560 Gen11 Server to accelerate graphic intense workloads. GPUs up to 10.5” in length including the NVIDIA H100 80GB PCIe GPU and the NVIDIA L40 48GB PCIe Accelerators are supported in slot 2 and 5.
Depending on configuration there can be 2 or 4x power supply units (PSU) on the rear of the chassis offering 1+1, 2+2, 3+1 or 4+0 redundancy. PSU options include 800W, 1000W, 1600W or 2200W. To manage the system, HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO6) software enables users to securely configure, monitor, and update the platform both at-chassis and remotely. HPE OneView provides a more comprehensive view of the entire infrastructure and offers more features to help streamline IT operations from a single dashboard. The system comes with Standard iLO and Standard OneView can be downloaded. iLO and OneView Advanced are also available with additional licensing costs.
