The single socket is compatible with CPUs offering 8 to 32 cores, and supports 16 DDR5 memory module slots with 8 memory channels. Memory will run at speeds of between 4000MT/s and 4800MT/s depending on the configuration, CPU, and memory module choice. Virtual RAID on CPU or VROC is embedded and provides RAID options for SATA and NVMe storage devices. VROC is not supported with Intel Xeon Scalable 4510, 4509Y or 3508U processors. Each model also has two onboard slots for support of NVMe M.2 storage devices. An optional HPE NS204i-u Gen11 NVMe Hot Plug Boot Optimized Storage Device is supported to boot the system without using your upfront storage.
Dual 1GbE ports on the back of the HPE ML110 Gen11 Tower provide integrated network controllers, which can be augmented using the single PCIe 5.0 x16 OCP mezzanine card slot for additional network controller options. A type-o storage controller or OROC can be installed in the OCP card slot. Additional network controllers, storage, storage controllers or GPUs can be installed in the PCIe slots. 2x single-width L4 GPUs (Processor limited to 150W TDP) or a single double-wide GPU can be installed. The HPE ProLiant ML110 Gen11 Server Tower can also be converted to a rack enclosure with a rail kit, taking up 5.5U of rack space. The system is powered by dual redundant Flex-Slot power supplies, with 500W, 800W, 1000W, and 1600W options depending on configuration. A single dedicated management port on the back of the system provides access to the integrated Lights Out 6.0 (iLO 6.0) management module and grants remote access of the system.
