Designed for demanding SAN and NAS environments, the Infortrend GS 3024 Gen3 Storage device houses 24x 3.5-inch drive bays in its 4U chassis. They are compatible with 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA HDDs and SSDs. Up to 896x drives are possible to connect to this system via expansion enclosures and up to 3584x drives are available per cluster via scale-out with up to up to 4x GS units. A flash backup via a super capacity is available on this system in the event of a power failure. The rear of each controller hosts dual SAS expansion ports along with a dedicated management port and 2x host board slots for optional NICs. SFP+, RJ-45 ports, and Fiber Channels (FC) are supported on the optional host boards along with SAS options granting varying speeds.

This appliance offers high-performance with read speeds of 16GB/s and write speeds of 12GB/s. Upgrading the single controller platform to a dual redundant controller configuration is an easy process. SAS, SATA, and U.2 NVMe drives are supported on the Infortrend GS 3024 system providing options for hot and cold storage. It is possible to daisy-chain this appliance with other JBOD enclosures, increasing the drive capacity to 896x drives. Data redundancy is available via the full range of RAID options. Infortrend’s web-based management software, EonOne, helps manage, assign resources, and automate common administrative tasks. Dual, hot-swap 530W 80 Plus bronze PSUs power this device in a redundant configuration.
