Each controller is powered by an Intel Xeon D 4-core processor with up to 8x threads, and by default delivers 48GB of DDR4 memory, which can be increased up to 384GB. Ensuring data integrity and reduced latency, each controller also features an SSD cache pool of up to 4TB. With 2x optional host board slots per controller, the system can be outfitted with either fiber channel (FC), SFP+, SFP28, and QSFP28, and QSFP56 to enable connection speeds from 10GbE to 200GbE. For remote direct memory access (RDMA) at least 24GB of memory per controller is required.

Built for diverse and demanding IT environments accommodating block and file storage options, the Infortrend GS 3024UT Storage appliance can be scaled-up to support a maximum of 896 drives when connected to JBOD expansion enclosures. With up to 4x GS appliances and accompanying JBDO expansion enclosures per cluster, the system can scale-out to up to 3584 drives. This storage appliance is powered by a dual redundant 530W 80 PLUS Bronze rated PSUs or 800W 80 PLUS Titanium PSUs.

The Infortrend GS 3024UT is equipped with EonOne, Infortrend’s intuitive web-based management suite, enabling users to seamlessly manage multiple appliances, oversee clusters, monitor system performance, and adjust configurations from a centralized interface. Designed for flexibility, this 24-bay storage solution supports a broad range of operating systems—including Windows Server, OpenStack Cinder, macOS X, and Sun Solaris. Infortrend’s RAID technology options and intelligent algorithms ensure data security while extending SSD lifespan by reducing the total amount of writes on an SSD.
