The EonStor GS 3048UT is a high-performance device with dual redundant controllers that supports PCIe 4.0 and 100GbE remote direct memory access (RDMA). It can handle applications that require low latency with up to 950K IOPS and 24/10 GB/s of throughput. Digital assets have complete data protection, and the performance and capacity may be increased linearly by scaling up to 4x GS units. By connecting each GS unit to a JBOD expansion system, scale-up expansion minimizes the hardware footprint and enables the deployment of up to 896 drives. Upgrading the number of Infortrend systems per cluster during scale-out facilitates up to 3584 drives. For cache backup in the event of a power outage, the system makes use of a flash module and a super capacitor.
The EonStor GS 3024UT has two onboard host ports, a mini-USB connector, and an Ethernet management port on the back. Similarly, 2x redundant 530W 80 PLUS Bronze rated power supply units are found on the rear of the chassis. Alibaba Cloud, Baidu Cloud, Google Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack, and Wasabi Cloud are among the cloud providers compatible with EonCloud Gateway. Among the supported operating systems are Citrix XenServer, Windows Server, OpenStack Cinder, and macOS X. However, independent administration is also supported by Infortrend's EonOne software suite. In this case, emails or the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) can be used to send notifications.
