The 4U Infortrend EonStor GS 4024 Gen3 Storage appliance delivers great performance with read speeds of 16GB/s and write speeds of 12GB/s. Ideal for SAN and NAS environments; this system comes in two configurations. The EonStor GS 4024S3 houses a single controller, which can be upgraded to house dual redundant controllers. The EonStor GS 4024R3 houses 2x redundant controllers. Each controller supports a single Intel Xeon D 6-core processor and between 8GB and 192GB of cache memory.

Another one of the performance features on this system is GPUDirect, which bypasses the CPU and system memory to directly address the host system GPU for maximum efficiency and low latency. On the front of Infortrend GS 4024 Gen3 storage device, there are 24x 3.5-inch drive bays which are compatible with 2.5-inch drive form factors as well. A single controller supports an Intel Xeon D 6-core processor, up to 192GB of cache memory, 2x SAS expansion ports, a dedicated management port, and dual host board slots for optional NICs. Available options include Fiber Channel (FC), SFP+, RJ-45 ports and SAS options. There are 2 base configuration options for this system.

Daisy-chaining this platform with other JBOD expansion enclosures will enable a scale-up of up to 896x drives via an expansion enclosure. Via scale-out per cluster with other series appliances it can provide a maximum of up to 3584x drives. SAS, SATA, and U.2 NVMe drives are supported on this system with a full range of RAID options. Infortrend’s EonOne web-based management suite is available. Dual 530W 80 Plus power supplies power this system.
