With 2x controllers per Infortrend EonStor GS 4024U storage appliance the system has 4x JBOD expansion ports for attaching and daisy-chaining additional expansion enclosures. Host server connections will require the installation of host boards in the controllers, each of which has 2x host board slots. Each controller also supports a single Intel Xeon D 6-core processor and 48GB of memory by default that can be expanded for up to 384GB of cache memory. Host boards feature a number of connection port options and offer various data link connection speeds, including those that support remote direct memory access (RDMA). Powering the system, are dual, redundant 530W 80 PLUS Bronze PSUs or 800W 80 PLUS Titanium PSUs.

Over time, this also prevents multiple SSDs from failing at the same time, potentially causing data loss. Using EonOne a web-based management utility, users can increase efficiency and productivity. It offers an intuitive user interface to easily manage multiple storage appliances, while monitoring performance and usage from a single interface.
