A single controller on the Infortrend GS5090 Gen3 Storage supports up to 512GB with up to 64GB DDR5 of cache memory, and up to 1024GB with up to 128GB DDR5 of cache memory with dual controllers. Under the hood, the 4U storage houses 90x 2.5-inch SSDs or 3.5-inch HDDs. It can accommodate up to 896 drive bays per appliance with 15x mixed expansion enclosures, and up to 3,584 drive bays per 
cluster via scale-out with other series of appliances. Used for scale-out high availability unified storage for enterprises, the platform provides massive sequential throughput of up to 45GB/s read and 20GB/s write per appliance, and more than 70PB in a single GS cluster.
