The single controller on the Infortrend EonStor GSe 3024U Storage system features an intel Xeon D 4-core processor complimented with 12GB of DDR4 cache memory. Controller memory can be upgraded to support up to 192GB of cache memory. Up to 896 drives can be attached via scale-up expansion using a number of Infortrend JBDO expansion enclosures. Or up to 3584 drives via scale-out using other Infortrend series appliances, per cluster. The system is powered by dual redundant 530W 80 PLUS Bronze PSUs.
Offering options for block-level storage with offline compression and offline deduplication, for file-level storage with system offers inline compression and offline deduplication. The system also provides a number of RAID options for data resiliency or performance, depending on your business needs. For connecting additional JBOD expansion enclosures the chassis supports 2x 10GbE SFP+ ports. The storage controller also supports 2x host board slots for more expansion enclosure and host connection ports. Supported optional host boards features a number of different port options and numbers of ports, including those with up to 4x ports of 25GbE SFP28 offering Remote Direct Memory Access or RDMA.
