Outfitted with a single controller, the Infortrend EonStor GSe 3040 Gen3 is designed to address essential applications used by SMBs. The single storage controller includes an Intel Xeon D processor with 4 cores. The system has 12GB of DDR4 cache memory that can be upgraded to 192GB. It also features 4TB of SSD storage for block-level data protection in the event of a power failure. There is one SAS expansion slot for connecting additional expansion enclosures and 4x onboard 1GbE ports for network communications. There are also two host board slots for additional expansion and host port options. The system supports a number of different file types including SAS HDDs and SSDs plus SATA SSDs and HDDs.
