It delivers high-performance and scalable storage system that can scale-up to 896 drives using additional expansion enclosures or scale-out to up to 3584 drives with other appliances, per cluster.

Additional Information

The single storage controller housed in the Infortrend EonStor GSe 4040 G3 Storage Appliance has an Intel Xeon D processor with 6 cores and up to 12GB of DDR4 cache memory. The controller can be upgraded to provide up to 192GB of cache storage and with an optional super capacitor with flash storage. For block-level storage protocols, it features a 4TB U.2 NVMe drive for a solid-state cache pool.

Along with easy upgrades to the controller, the system offers easy maintenance with a modular system of removable fans and power supplies. For monitoring performance and allocating resources, Infortrend offers the EonOne software utility accessible through a user-friendly interface. This appliance can also be used for a backup appliance with Intelligent Drive Recovery (IDR), snapshot, local/remote replication, and file-level sync.
