The Infortrend GSe Pro 1008 delivers 4GB by default, which can scale up to 16GB of DDR3 cache memory. It’s equipped with either one or two 250W hot-swappable PSUs, depending on the model. There are 4x onboard 1GbE host ports (RJ45) located on the rear of the platform, ensuring versatile network connectivity. This unit does not offer additional storge expansion through JBOD expansion enclosures.

It offers seamless file sharing across Windows, Mac, and Linux systems and is well-suited for tasks like file backup, synchronization, and cloud integration via a simple, user-friendly interface. A smart cloud integration feature, EonCloud Gateway, is built into the system to connect with major cloud services like Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and others. This allows for automatic file or storage block synchronization between local and cloud environments, streamlining backup and data sharing processes.

A number of RAID options are available to ensure performance or data resiliency. Administrators can manage the storage system using EonOne, a centralized web-based tool that makes it easy to oversee performance, adjust configurations, and control multiple storage units from one interface. It supports a wide range of operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, MacOS X, and VMware.
