A step up from the GSe Pro 100-series appliances, the Infortrend EonStor GSe Pro 205 offers 1x controller, plus 1GbE and 10GbE (SFP+) onboard host ports. Designed for SMBs and environments with limited space and budget, it provides cloud integration along with cross-office file sharing, and centralized management. 5x storage bays on the front of the chassis support SATA HDDs and SSDs with a 6Gb/s SATA drive interface.

Additional Information

Instead of a single host board slot like on the EonStor GSe Pro 100 series, the Infortrend EonStor GSe Pro 200-series has 2x host board slots for connecting additional host platforms and expansion enclosures. There are two versions of each platform, a standard configuration and performance configuration. Standard comes with a 2-core Pentium processor, while the performance version has a 4-core intel Pentium processor. Up to 4x 8-bay expansion enclosures can be connected to the EonStor GSe Pro 205 for 32x additional drives and 37x drives total when factoring in the storage on the controller unit.

Thanks to EonCloud, this platform supports integration with several public and private cloud providers including, Amazon S2, Microsoft Azure, Wasabi, OpenStack, and Google Cloud, to name a few. It can also be configured to support File level, Block level, or Object level storage protocols. Web-based management featuring an intuitive graphical user interface is provided by Infortrend’s EonOne software suite. EonOne also provides step-by-step configurations as well as robust management features.
