Powered by an Intel Pentium 4-core processor, the single controller supports up to 64GB of DDR4 cache memory, with 4GB as the default configuration and up to 64GB at capacity. Dual 460W 80 PLUS Bronze-rated power supplies can be located at the rear. Meanwhile, the EonStor GSe Pro 3008 has 8x 3.5” storage bays that can house up to 8x 2.5-inch SATA SSDs or 3.5-inch SATA HDDs behind an optional front cover. For greater storage needs, drive capacity can be expanded to a maximum of 448 drives by connecting additional expansion enclosures (JBODs). The platform also offers flexible network connectivity, featuring 4x 1GbE onboard host ports (RJ45) on the rear. It is compatible with a variety of operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, macOS X, and VMware.

Administrators can manage the storage system through EonOne, a browser-based tool that enables local or remote management over a TCP/IP network via an Ethernet management port. Users are able to control configurations and oversee multiple storage units from one interface. This centralized interface allows users to configure and monitor multiple storage units simultaneously. Additionally, the EonCloud Gateway feature offers synchronization of both file-level and block-level data with a broad range of public and private cloud services including Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, OpenStack, Baidu Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Google Cloud, and more.
