The Infortrend GSe Pro 3012 is an entry-level machine is ideal for small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) and remote/branch offices (ROBOs). With 12x 3.5â storage bays, it can house up to 12x 2.5" SATA SSDs or 3.5" SATA HDDs behind its optional front cover. For those with larger storage needs, the system supports expansion up to 448 drives by connecting additional JBOD expansion enclosures. It also provides flexible network connectivity with 4x 1GbE onboard host ports (RJ45) on the rear panel. Compatible with multiple operating systems, including Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, macOS X, and VMware, this platform ensures broad versatility. Equipped with a single controller, up to 2x optional host boards can be installed with various interface options, all accessible from the rear for easy deployment. Power is supplied by dual 460W 80 PLUS Bronze-rated PSUs.

Connected to additional expansion enclosures, the system can support up to 448 drives maximum. Administrators can manage the storage system through EonOne, a browser-based tool that allows both local and remote management via an Ethernet management port over a TCP/IP network. This centralized interface enables users to control configurations and monitor multiple storage units simultaneously from a single platform. Additionally, the EonCloud Gateway feature facilitates the synchronization of both file-level and block-level data with a wide variety of public and private cloud services including Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, OpenStack, Baidu Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Google Cloud, and more.
