Supporting up to 16x 3.5” drive bays and an optional front cover, the GSe Pro 3016 can scale to a total of 448 drives via JBOD expansion enclosures. The storage bays can accommodate 2.5" SATA SSDs or 3.5" SATA HDDs. Network connectivity is handled by 4x 1GbE (RJ45) onboard host ports, with room for up to 2x optional host boards offering a range of host interface choices, all easily accessible from the rear. This system is highly efficient and provides offline compression and deduplication for Block Level storage or inline compression and offline deduplication for File level storage initiatives. A single controller manages the system, and power is supplied by dual 460W 80 PLUS Bronze-rated PSUs.

Compatibility spans Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, macOS X, and VMware, ensuring broad deployment flexibility. Storage management is streamlined through EonOne, a browser-based platform for local or remote administration via an Ethernet management port over TCP/IP. This tool allows configuration control and performance monitoring of multiple storage units from a single interface. For hybrid cloud workflows, the built-in EonCloud Gateway enables both file-level and block-level synchronization with public and private cloud services, including Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, OpenStack, Baidu Cloud, and Tencent Cloud.
