Designed to operate by using warm water (up to 113°F), the Lenovo ThinkSystem SC750 V4 Neptune Server is based on the 6th generation Lenovo Neptune direct water-cooling platform. Two dual-socket nodes are installed on each Neptune tray, and 8x trays can be housed in the 13U ThinkSystem N1380 enclosure.

Additional Information
Each of the 2x nodes that comprise the Lenovo ThinkSystem SC750 V4 Neptune Server offers dual Intel Xeon 6 6900-series processors with a TDP of up to 500W. CPUs with up to 128 performance cores (P-cores) are supported. On top of each CPU cold plate is a single E3.S NVMe 1T drive. 2x optional drive cages in front support 2x E3.S NVMe drives each, for a total of 8x E3.S NVMe drive bays divided between the 2x nodes.
With 12-channel memory architecture provided by the CPUs, each of the 2x nodes has 2x CPUs with 12x memory module slots each. With 48x memory module slots divided between the 2x nodes, each node can provide up to 3TB of memory for up to 6TB per Lenovo ThinkSystem SC750 V4 tray. RDIMMs can operate at speeds of up to 6400MHz, meanwhile Multiplexed Rank DIMMs (MRDIMMs) can run at speeds of up to 8800MHz.
Each node has 2x front bays that support either E3.S drives as mentioned above, or 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 slots or 1x PCIe slot plus 2x E3.S 1T drives (or 1x E3.S 2T drive). Engineered for large-scale cloud infrastructures and high-performance computing (HPC), the SC750 V4 Neptune can handle technical computing, grid deployments, and analytics workloads in various fields such as research, life sciences, energy, engineering, and financial simulation.
The 13U enclosure has 4x water-cooled, hot-swap 15kW Titanium Power Conversion Stations (PCS) with fully balanced phases and N+1 redundancy to power the system. A single System Management Module (SMM) is mounted in back between the PCSs and can be used to manage all 8x of the dual server node trays with just one Ethernet connection. To manage the Lenovo SC750 V4, administrators can deploy the XClarity Controller 3 (XCC3), which helps manage the system easily and efficiently. It features advanced energy monitoring and management capabilities and a user-friendly interface, simplifying the management of complex HPC environments.
