On the front of the chassis, there are 6x water-cooled PCIe Gen5 adapter slots. Just behind these slots, Administrators will find 5x water-cooled drive cages, each with 2x E3.S 1T drives for up to 10x E3.S NVMe SSDs per tray. The Lenovo ThinkSystem SC777 V4 Server utilizes direct water cooling to remove heat from all components such as CPUs, memory, I/O, local storage, and voltage regulators. The SC777 V4 Server is designed for high-performance computing environments including grid deployments, technical computing, and analytics workloads in various fields such as research, life sciences, energy, engineering, and financial simulation.

The 13U enclosure has 4x 15kW power conversion stations (PCS), and built-in Neptune water flow distribution manifolds. A cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) can be positioned in the rack or externally. The Supercomputer infrastructure is engineered for ExaScale to EveryScale, promising a decade of top-tier performance for compute clusters of all sizes. The N1380 Enclosure has a System Management Module (SMM) on the back. Lenovo’s SC777 V4 Neptune comes with XClarity Controller 3 (XCC3), which helps manage the system easily and efficiently. It features advanced energy monitoring and management capabilities and a user-friendly interface, simplifying the management of complex HPC environments.
