The redesigned bezel of the ThinkSystem SR630 V4 enhances airflow by 5% and features up to 10x hot-swap 2.5-inch drive bays on the front panel. An additional 2x hot-swap 2.5-inch drive bays can be installed at the rear. The server can also be equipped with up to 16x EDSFF E3.S SSDs. For OS installation or data storage, there are 2x M.2 slots on the motherboard. The M.2 drives can also be mounted at the rear as hot-swap drives. Additionally, the system supports 5x PCIe 5.0 slots, and 2x OCP 3.0 slots. Up to 3x single width 75W GPUs can be installed for compute acceleration.
For maximum efficiency, the Lenovo SR630 V4 offers liquid-assisted cooling with Lenovo’s Neptune Processor direct water cooling (DWC) Module. This advanced cooling system removes heat more efficiently improving the server’s performance and prevents thermal throttling. The server is supported by dual redundant power supplies ranging from 800W to 1100W. Lenovo’s XClarity One system management introduces the industry's first hybrid cloud-based unified Management-as-a-Service management utility providing three predictive failure analytics engines to quickly identify potential issues and minimize system downtime while increasing accuracy. Administrators can also deploy the XClarity Controller 3 (XCC3) to monitor server availability. For additional capabilities, an upgrade to XCC Platinum is available, offering remote control functions (keyboard/video/mouse) support for remote media files (ISO and IMG image files), boot capture, and power capping.
