Lenovo ThinkSystem SR655 V3 Server

The 2U Lenovo ThinkSystem SR655 V3 server features up to 40x 2.5-inch hybrid hot-swap drive bays by using combinations of 24 front-accessible bays, 8 mid bays, and 8 rear-accessible drive bays. Another configurations provides 20x 3.5-inch hybrid drive bays for lower-cost, high-capacity HDD storage. 2x rear-mounted externally accessible 7mm hot-swap drive bays can be used to support the operating system boot functions or for data storage. An internal M.2 module supports optionhal RAID 1 with 2x M.2 drives installed. The single-socket system supports an AMD EPYC processor from the 4th generation family with a TDP of up to 360W and up to 96 cores.

With 31 distinct drive bay combinations in the front, center, and back of the server, as well as 6 different slot configurations in the rear, the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR655 V3 server is a configuration-rich product. A variety of GPU options can be installed on the ThinkSystem SR655 V3 server. Up to 3x double-width 350W GPUs, 6x single-width 150W GPUs, or 8x single-width 75W GPUs can be mounted on the system. The server supports up to 10x PCIe slots with rear access, plus a slot dedicated to the OCP adapter slot. Flexible options for PCIe 5.0 or 4.0 are compatible depending on the riser and rear drive bay selection. When 128GB 3DS RDIMMs are mounted 12x DDR5 memory module slots can accommodate up to 1.5TB of RAM and up to 4800MHz speeds. Security is provided by Lenovo ThinkShield, and management is made simple with XClarity's user-friendly software and single activity dashboard. Additionally, it features safety precautions like hardware monitoring for unpredictable modifications and upgrades.
