Lenovo ThinkSystem SR850 V3 Server

Up to 24x 2.5-inch drives can be installed on this server as well as 2x 7mm or NVMe drives for fast access storage or OS installation. The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR850 V3 Server is housed in a 2U chassis with support for 2x or 4x 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Each socket supports 16x DDR5 DIMM slots. When fully configured with 4x CPUs, the maximum memory capacity on this system is up to 16TB. Expanding the capabilities of the Lenovo SR850 V3 server is achieved with up to 12x PCIe expansion slots found on the rear of the system.

Additional Features

2x or 4x 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs can be installed on the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR850 V3 and offer improved inter-CPU communications with 3x ultra path interconnect connections between adjacent processors. For additional processing power, the system can also be outfitted with two high-performance DW GPUs or up to 4x SW GPUs. M.2 Adapters are available to support the OS with RAID functionality provided by virtual RAID on CPU (VROC). This densely designed system is ideal for general business applications, in-memory database, and virtualization. It is powered by 2x Platinum or Titanium level power supplies in a redundant configuration.
