Lenovo ThinkSystem ST650 V3 Server

The 4U Lenovo ThinkSystem ST650 V3 tower server offers dual 4th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with a maximum TDP of up to 250W for up to 32 cores. A total of 32x DDR5 DIMMs can bwe installed in the system for a maximum of 4TB of RAM using 128GB RDIMMs. On the front of the chassis, there are 32x 2.5-inch hybrid drive bays, including 24x optional NVMe bays, or 16x 3.5-inch drives, including 16x optional NVMe bays. Although the previous ThinkSystem ST650 V2 supported Intel Optane Persistent Memory 200 series, this machine does not.

Lenovo ThinkSystem ST650 V3 Server - System Overview

As a two-socket server, the Lenovo ThinkSystem ST650 V3 is a highly configurable tower supporting up to 9x PCIe slots with 5x Gen 5 and 4x Gen 4 slots available. With up to 80x PCIe 5.0 lanes per processor, there is plenty of room for expansion. The system can be outfitted with 8x single-width (SW), 4x double-width (DW), or a combination of 4x SW and 4x DW GPUs, to accelerate breakthroughs. As a GPU-rich tower server, it maximizes performance by handling huge data blocks for workloads such as video creation and editing. Powering this system are dual redundant 2600W Titanium AC power supplies. To manage this server, Lenovo’s XClarity software can deliver backups, updates, and monitoring.
