The front of the chassis delivers 24x 2.5-inch hot-swap NVMe, SATA, and SAS drive bays, but by default 4x NVMe and 2x SATA drives are supported. To boot the operating system, the motherboard supports 1x M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe slot. For expansion purposes, the GPU server supports 9x PCIe Gen5 x16 FHFL slots, which are accessible through the rear panel. Also on the rear panel, 4x 2000W redundant (2+2) Titanium level power supplies. This server can be managed both locally and remotely through Supermicro’s proprietary software tools and can only be sold with a minimum configuration of 2x CPUs, 2x GPUs, 2x DIMMs, and 1x storage device.
