Supermicro Server 1124US-TNRP front

Outfitted with integrated 10GbE ports, the Supermicro A+ Server 1124US-TNRP is designed for use as a high-end server, for extreme virtualization, and cloud computing. Please note, system has a minimum configuration including 2x CPUs, 4x DIMM modules and 1x NVMe HDD drive. However, beyond the minimal configuration, IT Creations can custom configure to your specifications.

Performance

This system is configured with dual AMD EPYC 7002 processors, delivering up to 64 cores each for up to 128 cores total with dual processors. Each processor supports 8x memory channels for up to 4TB each or 8TB with both processors installed.

Memory

Only Registered (RDIMM) ECC DDR4 memory modules are supported on the 1124US-TNRP Server operating at speeds of up to 3200MHz. Each CPU supports 16x memory module slots for up to 32x active slots in a dual processor configuration. Built-out with all 32x module slots supporting 256GB memory modules this system will support up to 8TB.

Storage

The default storage condition on the Supermicro 1124US-TNRP is 12x NVMe storage devices. SAS or SATAIII drives are also supported via an optional SAS or SATAIII kit, respectively. SAS drives will require an optional RAID controller in one of the 4x available PCIe 4.0 expansion slots. M.2 drives are supported but only using optional add on cards (AOC).

Expansion

Supermicro is one of the first companies to offer PCIe 4.0 compatibility with the introduction of AMD’s EPYC processor family. EPYCs also support up to 128 PCIe 4.0 lanes to support a variety of options depending on your workload.

Management

The RJ45 management port on the back of the 1124US-TNRP Server provides access to the integrated platform management interface or IPMI, which is based on the ASPEED AST 2500 management module. The proprietary SuperDoctor 5 (SD5) features a web-based interface and monitors health and availability of data center assets in real time, and can be configured to provide alerts to administrators.
