Supermicro A+ WIO SuperServer 1014S-WTRT

The WIO family offers a wide range of I/O features, hence the name! With either processor generation installed, the Supermicro A+ WIO SuperServer 1014S-WTRT can deliver up to 64 physical cores and 128 virtual threads. The single CPU provides 8-channel memory architecture and with only 8x memory module slots, this system is optimized at 1x DIMM per Channel (1DPC). Supported memory includes DDR4 Registered and Load-Reduced DIMM modules, which will deliver speeds of up to 3200MT/s.

On the back of the system, the 1014S-WTRT has dual RJ45 ports offering 10GbE. An additional LAN port dedicated to management supports 1GbE. 3x PCIe 4.0 slots are supported by 2x riser cards. There are 2x full-height, full length PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, and a single PCIe 5.0 low-profile slot. For SAS storage devices a discrete storage controller is required. The system can also be outfitted with 1x or 2x NVIDIA T4 with 16GB of GDDR5 memory or NVIDIA A2 GPUs offering 16GB of GDDR6 memory.

To manage the system, Supermicro provides a few software tools. There’s SuperCloud Composer, the Update Manager (SUM), Server Manager (SSM), And SuperDoctor 5 (SD5), to name a few. Out-of-band management of the system requires an out-of-Band license key.
