There are 8x E1.S drives with NVIDIA BlueField-3 NICs in Storage Configuration mode essentially splitting storage assets between each node. This platform is designed to support applications in high-performance computing (HPC), AI/Deep Learning Training and Inference, plus Large Language Model (LLM) and Generative AI models.

Each node on the Supermicro 111GL-DSHR-LCC GPU Server offers 576GB of coherent memory, which includes 480GB of LPDDR5X (CPU) and 96GB of HBM3 memory from the GPU for LLM applications. Between the CPU and GPU is NVIDIA’s NVLink low-latency, high-bandwidth interconnect offering data transfer speeds of up to 900GB/s. The NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchip combines a Grace CPU with an H100 GPUwith up to 72 cores per node.
For additional expansion with NICs or storage controllers, each node offers 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 slots. The full-height, full-length slot is dedicated to an NVIDIA BlueField (DPU) data processing unit and the other is a low-profile PCIe slot. This system supports up to 8x hot-swap heavy duty fans for air cooling or Direct to Chip (D2C) cold plates for the CPUs.
