The Supermicro ARS-111GL-SHR GPU Server is designed for high-performance computing (HPC), Large Language Model (LLM) and Generative AI, plus AI/Deep Learning Training and Inference. System memory includes 480GB of ECC LPDDR5X from the Grace CPU paired with up to 96GB of ECC HBM3 memory via the integrated GH200 GPU. The NVIDIA Grace CPU also features up to 72 physical cores with 72 virtual threads and a 117MB cache. There are 8x front hot-swap E1.S NVMe drives, plus 2xNVMe slots on the system board for support of 2x M.2 drives.

For network connectivity the system can be outfitted with an NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPU or NVIDIA ConnectX-7. Both will deliver super-fast network communications with the BlueField-3 incorporating a a programmable Data processing unit to effectively take the pressure off the CPU for GPUDirect RDMA and GPUDirect Storage applications. ConnectX-7 offers pure low-latency RDMA performance. Both ConnectX-7 and BlueField-3 deliver data transfer speeds of up to 400Gb/s. The system is powered by 2000W redundant Titanium PSUs.
