It supports up to 2x 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors per node each housing 8x DDR5 DIMM slots for a total of 16x slots. Fully configured, the maximum memory capacity on each server node is 4TB. Each node is connected to 12x of the 24x 2.5-inch hot-swap NVMe/SATA drive bays with an optional M.2 NVMe boot controller. The rear of the Supermicro 221BT-DNTR holds 2x PCIe 5.0 x8 low-profile slots and a single PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slot.
