Featuring dual-socket quad hot-pluggable nodes the Supermicro BigTwin SuperServer 221BT-HNC9R is a 2U rackmountable chassis compatible with 2x 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors and Intel Xeon CPU Max Series with high bandwidth memory (HBM). Each node supports 8x DDR5 DIMM slots for a total of 16x DIMM slots with both processors installed. Fully configured, the maximum memory capacity on each node is 4TB. 6x of the 24x 2.5-inch hot-swap NVMe/SAS drive bays are connected to each node, which offers built-in support for SAS drives. A single PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slot is available per node. On the rear of the Supermicro 221BT-HNC9R along with a PCIe x8 slot for an optional NVMe M.2 boot controller.
