Supermicro BigTwin SuperServer 621BT-DNC8R

Featuring dual 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors or Intel Xeon CPU Max series CPUs in each of 2x server nodes, the Supermicro BigTwin SuperServer 621BT-DNC8R has 12x 3.5-inch drive bays. Each node supports up to 2x 4th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors, and when fully configured will hold up to 4TB of DDR5 memory across 16x DIMM slots. Nodes are connected to 6x 3.5-inch hot-swap NVMe/SAS drive bays. On the rear of each node of the Supermicro 621BT-DNC8R, there are 2x PCIe 5.0 x8 low-profile slots and a single PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slots.

Additional Features

Powering the Supermicro BigTwin 621BT-DNC8R are 2x 2200W Redundant Titanium level power supplies in a redundant configuration. The system also supports a dedicated PCIe 4.0 x8 slot for an optional NVMe M.2 card with riser and Broadcomm 3808 tri-mode controller used in initiator target mode (IT mode). This system is designed for Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Back-up and Recovery tasks, and Scale-Out Object Storage.

NOTE: This system is only sold as a complete system with at least 2 CPUs, 2 DIMMs, 1 NIC, and 1 storage device (HDD/SSD/NVMe/M.2) per node.
