Each of the 2x hot-pluggable server nodes on the Supermicro BigTwin SuperServer 621BT-DNTR supports dual 4th or 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with 16x DDR5 DIMM slots. Fully configured, each node has a maximum memory capacity of up to 4TB and connects to 6x of the 12x 3.5-inch hot-swap NVMe/SATA drive bays on the front. 2x PCIe 5.0 x8 low-profile slots and a single PCIe 5.0 x16 expansion slots are available, plus an optional M.2 NVMe boot controller.
This system is designed for Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Back-up and Recovery, and Scale-Out Object Storage. Powering the Supermicro BigTwin 621BT-DNTR server, are dual 2200W Titanium Level power supplies in a redundant 1+1 configuration.
NOTE: This platform is only sold as a complete system with at least 2 CPU, 2 DIMMs, 1 NIC adapter, & 1 HDD/SSD/NVMe/M.2 per node.
