Supermicro BigTwin SuperServer 622BT-DNC8R - System Overview
This system is ideally designed for scale-out file storage, backup, and recovery, as well as hyperconverged infrastructure. Fully configured, each node on the BigTwin SuperServer 622BT-DNC8R delivers 16x DIMM slots offering up to 4TB of DDR5 memory operating at up to 6400MT/s when all slots are loaded with 256GB RDIMMs. 2x M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe slots per node, can be outfitted with 22110 form factor cards. 2x more NVMe M.2 drives are supported via optional SCC-A2NM2241GH-B1 offering built-in HW RAID 1. To expand the capabilities, the server supports options for expansion.
SAS drive support is via a 12Gbps via Broadcom 3808 controller in IT mode. Powering the server, are 2x 2200W redundant (1 + 1) Titanium level (96%) power supplies on the rear panel.

A dedicated management IPMI LAN port on the back of each node provides remote access to the system. A number of management programs, including SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro Think-Agent Service (TAS), Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA) can be deployed by administrators.
