Supermicro CloudDC A+ 1116CS-TN Server - System Overview
In addition to the 2.5-inch drive bays, the Supermicro 1116CS-TN includes 2x M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 slots on the H14 motherboard, supporting 2280 and 22110 form factor cards. For expansion, the system features 2x risers, each offering 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height, half-length slot. For additional network communications options, a single PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM (Advanced I/O Module) slot compatible with OCP 3.0 networking module is available. 12x DIMM slots take advantage of the CPUs 12-channel memory architecture, accommodating up to 3TB of DDR5 memory with 1x DIMM per channel (1DPC). Depending on the installed processor, and the speed of the installed memory modules, memory speeds can reach up to 6400MT/s with 5th Gen AMD EPYC CPUs, or 4800MT/s with 4th Gen CPUs.
The CloudDC A+ 1116CS-TN Server is fully compatible with Supermicro’s management software suite, including Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA). These tools streamline deployment, configuration, and updates at both the chassis level and remotely for single systems or data centers. For power, the chassis supports a configuration of 2x redundant 1000W or 2000W Titanium-level power supplies.
