Designed for use as a web server, cloud computing, and edge node applications, the Supermicro CloudDC A+ 2015CS-TNR server features a single AMD EPYC 9004 series processor to support the latest technology. These CPUs support a maximum core count of up to 128 cores and 256 threads, a TDP of up to 360W, and AMD’s 4th gen 3D V-Cache technology. The 2U system has 12x 3.5-inch hot-swap hybrid NVMe, SATA, or SAS drive bays, that can be outfitted with 2.5-inch drives. 12x DDR5 memory module slots provide up to 3TB of DDR5 memory operating at speeds of up to 4800MHz using 256GB RDIMMs.
Supermicro CloudDC A+ 2015CS-TNR Server - System Overview
In addition to the drive bays up front, the CloudDC A+ 2015CS-TNR server supports 2x optional 2.5” hot-swap NVMe, SATA, or SAS drive bays on the rear of the chassis and 2x onboard NVMe M.2 PCIe 2280 or 22110 cards using the integrated Gen3 x2 slots. These M.2 slots can only be used as a boot drive and can be mirrored for redundancy. Depending on the drive configuration, some front drive bays and/or PCIe slot options may be limited when using the rear drive bays. Also on the rear, there are 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHFL slots, 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHHL slots, and dual PCIe 5.0 x16 Advanced I/o Module (AIOM) slots for networking. 2x double-width GPUs can be installed, including the NVIDIA A100, A40, A30, A16 and H100. AMD GPUS are also supported and include the MI210. A dedicated IPMI LAN port allows Administrators to manage the system at-chassis or remotely. Supermicro provides several options to manage the system including SuperDoctor5, Redfish API, Super Diagnostics Offline, and IPMI 2.0.
