Designed for scientific research, oil and gas exploration, high-performance computing and a host of other applications, the Supermicro FlexTwin A+ Server 2126FT-HE-LCC offers four nodes, each with dual sockets. Supported processors include the AMD EPYC 9005 or 9004-series processors, and with liquid cooling, support a thermal design power (TDP) rating of up to 500W. It can also be outfitted with up to 6TB of memory per node.
Supermicro FlexTwin A+ Server 2126FT-HE-LCC - System Overview
With liquid cooling, CPUs with up to 192 cores and 384 virtual threads, per CPU, for up to 384 physical cores and 768 virtual threads, per node. AMD EPYC CPUs supported on the Supermicro FlexTwin A+ Server 2126FT-HE-LCC have a 12-channel memory architecture, and with 24x DDR5 memory module slots and dual processors, each memory module resides in its own memory channel. Regardless of processor generation, with 1x DIMM per channel, the system can support up to 6TB of Registered DIMMs (RDIMMs).
By default, for expansion there is a PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slot, and a PCIe 5.0 x16 Advanced I/O Module (AIOM) connector. Additionally, you can install a PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height, full-length slot, which will require additional parts. The system does have a dedicated IPMI LAN port for management. Software management tools include Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), KVM with dedicated LAN, IPMI 2.0, Supermicro Thin-Agent Service (TAS), SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA).
