Each of the 4x nodes supported on the Supermicro FlexTwin SuperServer 222FT-HEA-LCC can also be outfitted with up to 6TB of DDR5 Registered DIMMs (RDIMMs) or up to 3TB using DDR5 Multiplexed Rank DIMMs (MRDIMMs). MRDIMMs can only be installed 1x DIMM per Channel (1DPC) but do offer significantly faster memory speeds at up to 8800MT/s compared to RDIMMs, which deliver up to 6400MT/s. Storage is optional with either 2x E1.S NVMe slots or 2x M.2 NVMe drives. RAID options are provided by either an Intel Standard VROC key or Intel Premium VROC key. Both offer RAIDs of 0, 1, 10 with the premium version providing RAID 5 as well. Powering the system are 4x redundant 3200W Titanium level power supply units (PSUs).
There is one default PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slot with the option to install 1x PCIe 5.0 full-height, half-length slot. Also, an Advanced I/O Module slots (AIOM) compatible with OCP 3.0 standards that offers a PCIe 5.0 x16 connector. A dedicated 1GbE RJ45 LAN port provides access to the integrated Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) for remote management of the system. Supermicro provides several management utilities for this system including Supermicro SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), Supermicro Thin-Agent Service (TAS), SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA). SuperCloud Composer will require a software license for each monitored host.
