The Supermicro 4124GQ-TNMI features dual AMD EPYC 7003 series processors with up to 128 cores and 256 threads. It supports a Thermal Design Power (TDP) rating of up to 280W when air cooled. Each CPU delivers 8x memory channels and oversees 16x DDR4 memory module slots for 32x memory module slots total. At capacity it can deliver up to 8TB of memory. It’s compatible with RDIMMs and LRDIMMs, which can reach memory speeds of 3200MT/s when 2x DIMMs per channel are installed. On the front panel, there are 10x hot-swap 2.5" drive bays which can be configured with NVMe, SAS, or SATA drives. On the rear, 8x PCIe 4.0 x16 are accessible via PLX slots with an optional 2x PCIe 4.0 x16 LP slots.
