Additional InformationBuilt for large language models, scientific research, and autonomous vehicle technologies, the Supermicro 8126GS-NB3RT uses an integrated NVIDIA HGX B300 platform. It features 8x onboard NVIDIA B300 Blackwell Ultra SXM GPUs. Each GPU provides about 288GB of HBM3e memory, for a total of roughly 2.3TB across the system. The GPUs connect through 5th-generation NVLink with NVSwitch at 1.8TB/s bandwidth, while the CPUs link to each GPU over a PCIe 5.0 x16 bus.
Dual AMD EPYC 9004 or 9005 series processors can support up to 384 cores and 768 threads. Memory performance depends on the CPU series. With 9004 series CPUs installed memory speed can reach up to 4800MT/s, while the 9005 series provides memory speeds of up to 6400MT/s. Up to 6TB of DDR5 memory is available when all 24x DIMM slots are populated and with 12-channel memory architecture memory can run at top speeds.
The front of the chassis holds 8x hot-swap E1.S NVMe drive bays. Two additional M.2 NVMe slots are available for boot drives. High-speed networking comes from 8x NVIDIA ConnectX-8 SuperNICs, each supporting up to 800Gb/s. The system also supports up to 2x dual-port NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs and 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHHL slots for expansion. To power the system, there are 6x 6600W Titanium-level power supplies on the rear panel in a redundant 3+3 configuration. Supermicro management tools such as Supermicro Server Manager (SSM) and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA) support both local and remote administration.
