Designed for 3D rendering, diagnostic imaging, cloud gaming, and more, the dual-socket Supermicro 522GA-NRT supports Intel Xeon 6900 series processors with P-cores. Each CPU can deliver up to 128 cores, 256 threads, and a maximum TDP of up to 500W when air cooled. On the front panel, there are a total of 24x hot-swap 2.5” PCIe 5.0 NVMe drive bays. To boot the system or for additional storage, there are dual M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe slots on the X14 motherboard.
When all 24x DIMM slots are populated to capacity, the system can deliver up to 6TB of memory. Either ECC DDR5 RDIMMs or Multiplexed Rank DIMMs (MRDIMMs) can be installed with speeds ranging from 6400MT/s to 8800MT/s, respectively. The rear of the chassis holds 13x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHFL slots and 6x 2700W Redundant Titanium Level (96%) power supplies.
To manage and control the 522GA-NRT, administrators can use one of many Supermicro software tools such as Supermicro Thin-Agent Service, Super Diagnostics Offline, SuperCloud Composer, and SuperServer Automation Assistant. Super Diagnostics Offline can keep track of the CPU, hard drives, power supply, and memory through a command line (CLI) or graphical interface (GUI) on a local server, or remotely by way of Supermicro’s Server Manager or other remote tools.
