The Supermicro A21GE-NBRT server is designed for healthcare applications, finance and economics, industrial automation, and more. On the rear of the chassis, users will find 8x PCIe 5.0 x16 LP slots and 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHHL slots, while 6x 5000W redundant (3+3) Titanium Level PSUs provide power to the system. The front of the server supports 10x hot-swap 2.5" PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe drive bays, which may require an additional storage controller and/or cable. Additionally, the front panel features 2x easily removeable M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe drive caddies. For connectivity, the A21GE-NBRT boasts a PCIe 5.0 x16 CPU-to-GPU interconnect, and includes NVIDIA NVLink with NVSwitch for GPU-to-GPU connectivity. It also delivers 8x single-port NVIDIA ConnectX-7 NICs or NVIDIA BlueField-3 SuperNICs to maximize throughput and network connectivity.
To manage the system, administrators can use Super Diagnostics Offline (SDO), Supermicro ThinAgent Service (TAS), and SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA). SAA allows for configuration and updates of a single node or an entire datacenter, both remotely and locally.
