Supporting up to 6TB of DDR5 memory over 24x DIMM slots, the Supermicro Hyper A+ Server 2015HS-TNR has 12x front-facing storage bays compatible with SAS, SATA, or NVMe storage solutions. This 2U platform supports a single 4th generation AMD EPYC 9004 series CPU. SAS support can be supported with an optional controller card and cables, while SATA and NVMe support of all 24 drive bays just require additional cables. It also features 2x NVMe PCIe 3.0 M.2 slots with one PCIe Gen4 x4 and one PCIe Gen4 x2 in the 2280 and 22110 form factors to boot the operating system.
Supermicro Hyper A+ Server 2015HS-TNR - System Overview
The Supermicro Hyper A+ Server 2015HS-TNR is intended for virtualization, AI Inference and Machine Learning, as well as software-defined storage, and use as an enterprise server. System power is provided by dual, redundant 1200W Titanium level (96%) power supplies. Software tools like IPMI 2.0, SuperDoctor5, and Redfish API can be used by administrators to remotely and locally manage the system. SAS, SATA, and NVMe drives may require additional parts that are sold separately.
Expansion slots are variable depending on the workload with options for either 5 PCIe 5.0 x16 FHFL slots or 8x PCIe 5.0 x8 FHFL slots. Other PCIe configurations are supported. 1x advanced I/O module (AIOM) slot at the back of chassis provides additional NICs without using the PCIe slots. The Super H13SSH motherboard on the Supermicro 2015HS-TNR offers support for several GPUs including NVIDIA PCIe H100, L40S, L40, and A100. It also supports the AMD PCIe Instinct MI210 GPU. All graphics cards deliver a CPU-to-GPU interconnect via a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot. One advanced I/O module (AIOM) or OCP 3.0 card can be inserted into the designated mezzanine PCIe Gen5 x16 card slot.
