Supermicro Hyper SuperServer 212HA-TN

The single-socket Supermicro Hyper SuperServer 212HA-TN is powered by an Intel Xeon 6 processor from the 6900 series with P-cores. These CPUs support up to 128 cores and 256 thread, as well as a 500W TDP when air cooled. Under the hood, the Intel processor is surrounded by 12x memory module slots featuring up to 3TB of memory with RDIMM speeds running at 6400MT/s, or 8800MT/s with Multiplexed Rank DIMMs (MRDIMM). This system is ideal for virtualization, AI inference and machine learning, and more.

Supermicro Hyper SuperServer 112HA-TN front

There are two drive bay configuration options for the front of the 2U Supermicro SuperServer 212HA-TN. One option includes 24x hot-swap 2.5” SAS/SATA drive bays, while the other supports 8x hot-swap 2.5” NVMe/SAS/SATA drive bays. In addition, the motherboard features 2x M.2 NVMe slots for 2280, 22110, or 25110 cards. The Supermicro 212HA-TN also supports two PCIe expansion options:

  • 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 FH/10.5"L double-width slot
  • 1x PCIe 5.0 x8 FHFL slot
  • 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 HHFL double-width slot
  • 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM slot (OCP 3.0 compatible)

  • 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHFL double-width slot

To manage the system, administrators can use SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro Server Manager, and SuperServer Automation Assistant, among other software. Users can deploy, maintain, and monitor the system in real-time to troubleshoot or update the system. The 212HA-TN has several PSU possibilities including the following:
