The Supermicro SuperServer 212GB-NR can be outfitted with up to 4x double-width GPUs and is compatible with the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition or NVIDIA H200 GPUs. These GPU accelerators support a PCIe 5.0 x16 CPU-to-GPU interconnect and optional NVIDIA NVLink Bridge. The Intel Xeon 6 CPU supports 8x memory channels and 16x DDR5 DIMM slots, for 2x DIMMs per channel at full capacity. Both RDIMMs and MRDIMMs are compatible with the server, supporting up to 2TB of memory depending on the type of DIMMs installed. Memory speeds can also range from 5200MT/s to 8000MT/s, depending on the memory module used.
The front of the chassis holds 4x hot-swap E1.S NVMe drive bays. In this configuration with support for up to 4x GPUs only the left 4x EDSFF bays can be outfitted with drives. An additional 2x M.2 PCIe 5.0 x2 NVMe slots on the motherboard support 2280 and 22110 form factor cards. For expansion, the system provides 4x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHFL double-width slots for GPUs and 3x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHFL slots for network connectivity. To manage the system either at-chassis or remotely, administrators can use tools such as SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro Server Manager (SSM), SuperServer Automation Assistant (SAA), and more. The Supermicro 212GB-NR is powered by 3x 2000W redundant Titanium level power supplies.
